Green Loans - finding $avings all round your home

Green Loans is a government initiative to help Australians tackle climate change. The Green Loans Program assists Australian families to install solar, water saving and energy efficient products.

This subsidy covers the interest on borrowing of up to $10,000 for a period of up to 4 years.
The household can choose which participating bank, credit union or building society they wish to apply for a loan with.

The Green Loans program is aimed at increasing the efficiency of existing homes. The dwelling being assessed must have been completed and occupied for at least 12 months.
